Named after a Roman deity, she is the goddess of war, wisdom, intelligence, strategy, science, and the arts.
Welcome to the Municipality of La Minerve, an enchanting site that will delight all outdoor enthusiasts!
Located on the western edge of the Laurentians and near the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve, La Minerve offers wonderful snowmobile, ATV, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing trails.
With its beautiful wildlife diversity, magnificent forest landscapes, and some 136 lakes, La Minerve is a paradise for many outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing, as well as various resort activities. More than 1,507 people live permanently in La Minerve, and during the summer, incredibly, the population reaches nearly 8,000. We are fortunate to have on our territory the "La Relève" alternative elementary school, a municipal beach, a community center, a tennis court, a pickleball court, a pétanque court, an indoor skating rink, a tourist information kiosk with access to the aqueduct for water supply at the outdoor toilet, a library, an ATM inside the currently closed Petit Musée, as well as an electric charging station in the parking lot there, an observation deck, and a slope for winter sliding activities in the heart of the village... all this in an enchanting setting and very close to Tremblant!
